6 layers of mosquito net fabric

Hagi (Bush Clover) dishcloth in Nashi by Shirayuki

The front side is a beautiful Yuzen dye, and the back side is a white mosquito net fabric. The supple texture makes it suitable for use not only as a dishcloth, but also for other purposes such as hand towels.

Rayon is a recycled fiber made from wood pulp that biodegrades and returns to nature. It has better moisture absorption and release properties than cotton or linen, and is less likely to retain odors, making it ideal for dish towels.

It is in Nara that Shirayuki had been engaged in mosquito net manufacturing for many years, the company began making dishcloths from remnants of mosquito nets for personal use, and this is how the mosquito nets fabric dishcloths began.

Starch paste made from Satsuma sweet potatoes produced in Kagoshima. - Soak in hot water thoroughly before use. Fabric will become soft once starch has been removed.

Processed to prevent colour fading.

Although it is a patterned product, it can be used with non-chlorine bleach.

Do not tumble dry.

Made in Nara, Japan since 1956
